Mission Statement

My goal is for children to have strength of mind and will  to learn how to respect themselves, their environment and others.  To provide a quality, Christian, community-based child care that encourages, affirms, and nurtures children, youth, families and individuals, in all aspects of life. To provide a happy, healthy environment for children and families.

This environment will support and encourage the whole child by addressing their emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual needs. To maintain a safe and stable environment.  I will function as a partner with parents to fulfill the needs of the children. It is the desire of Linda's Family Child Care that each child who attends has a positive and productive experience.  I rely on ongoing communication between parents and myself because I feel it is crucial to assure that each child is progressing and benefiting from my program. I encourage parents to be a part of the learning process as much as possible because I recognize the importance of each child’s cultural background in developing a strong sense of self-worth.  Childhood is a magical time that only comes once and my goal is to make it a fun and exciting time.

Philosophy:

God creates us all special and unique. I believe that we were created to grow and develop the skills and abilities God gives each one of us. We also believe that we are an extension of the home. Part of my instruction includes techniques of role-modeling and hands-on skills that can be reinforced in parenting.

Each child is treated equally regardless of race, family background, or religion. I believe that we are a big part of motivating children to learn and grow. I enjoy working past the level of basic care, demonstrating a love and concern for each child.

  The Childcare Provider

Although I'm not their mother,

I care for them each day.

I cuddle, sing, and read to them,

and watch them as they play

I see each new accomplishment,

and help them grow and learn,

I understand their language,

and listen with concern.

They come to me for comfort,

and I kiss away their tears,

They proudly show their work to me,

I give the loudest cheers!

No, I am not their mother,

but my role is just as strong.

I nurture them and keep them safe,

though maybe not for long.

I know someday the time will come,

when we will have to part,

But I know each child I've cared for

is forever in my heart!

First topic after picking my kids up from their sitter: "Mom guess what!....we talked about Jesus, says my 3 year old diva! And then Jaydius proceeds to explain the bible story of Jonah and the whale! I'm grateful for the experiences my children are having each day at Mrs. Lala's house❤
